Carol Anne was in northern New Mexico at the time of that weather post, some 400 nm away from whatever was happening in southern AZ. On the other hand (which fortunately also has five fingers) the anomaly was only a few days after her boat was damaged. She's also known as Batwoman and the newer owner of an older Etchells, USA 125. However, we'll probably be sailing in southern Arizona in mid-January during the Arizona Yacht Club birthday regatta/leukemia point, so let me know if any bizarre weather anomalies surface then!
